  • Passport-type photograph. A digital copy of passport style photos with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. Must be uploaded upon completion of your order.

  • Proof of status. Copy of Green Card (both sides) or other proof of legal status in the US (such as copy of I-20, US visa, H1B approval notice, etc. VisaHQ cannot assist US B1/B2 visa holders at this time).

  • Business Support Letter. A business letter from the sending company in the US (soft copy acceptable). The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Nigeria, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
    • briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant);
    • state the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Nigeria;
    • specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. single entry business visa);
    • guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

  • Business invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in the destination country (soft copy acceptable). The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Nigeria, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
    • briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant);
    • state the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in the destination country;
    • specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e. a one year multiple entry business visa).

  • Letter of Incorporation. If visiting a private company in Nigeria, a copy of the sponsoring company's Certificate of Incorporation from the Registrar of Companies.

  • Proof of accommodation. A copy of hotel reservations or other lodgings for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on the reservation.

  • Itinerary. A copy of round-trip tickets with the applicant's name clearly stated on the itinerary.

  • Electronic copies of documents. Upload copies of documents. Upon placing your order please upload electronic scans or photographs of your passport information and your photo. These scans are necessary for VisaHQ to generate your application form.

  • Host passport. Scanned copies of the passports of the hosts you are visiting in Nigeria.

  • Letter of Incorporation. Certificate of Incorporation (a copy provided by the business in Nigeria – government bodies, major banks and oil companies excluded).

  • Introduction Letter. A letter of introduction from the Employer.

  • Multiple entry visa. Documentary evidence of need for multiple entry visa.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. 2 2x2 passport style photos.

  • Business Support Letter. A support letter from the sending company which introduces the applicant, states the nature of the trip, and specifies the type and desired validity of the visa.

  • Letter of Incorporation. Copy of certificate of incorporation of Host company in Nigeria.

  • Approval Letter. Copy of Comptroller General of Immigration's approval cable visa that lists the applicant’s name

  • Visa application form. Completed application form for Nigeria will be prepared within 5 business hours of order submission, and emailed to you to download, print and sign.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages. A digital copy of the information page of your passport MUST be uploaded upon completion of your order.

  • Missionary Letter. A letter of invitation from the sponsor or host in Nigeria explaining the purpose of travel, length of stay, place of stay, and host's contact information

    • state the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Nigeria;
    • specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. an employment (STR) visa).

  • Letter of Expatriate Quota Approval. A letter of expatriate quota approval that has been approved by the Ministry of Interior in Nigeria.

  • Credentials and Curriculum Vitae. Copies of resume, degrees, and certificates earned. All must be authenticated by relevant official of Nigerian High Commission/Embassy (English certified translation copy where applicable).

  • Employment Offer Letter. A letter from the sponsoring company in Nigeria. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Embassy of Nigeria, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
    • briefly introduce the applicant;
    • state the nature of the position being offered, salary structure, and duration of the contract;
    • specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa.

  • Acceptance of Employment. A copy of the applicant's acceptance to the position being offered in Nigeria.

  • Certificate of Registration of Company and Particulars.. Must include a copy of the certificate of incorporation of Nigerian company, company memorandum and article association, corporate affairs particulars of directors and their share holdings (CAC FORMS 2&7).

  • Work permit. A copy of business permit issued by the Ministry of Interior (for companies that have foreign shareholders).
